What will I learn
This course will help you to understand the role of play in early years. It contains five modules.

Topics include:

  3. Parten's six stages of play and the balance of child-initiated and adult-led play
  4. Sensory, physical, creative, imaginative, and heuristic play
  5. Inclusive practice in early education.

This course has been designed to support Unit 3.1 of NCFE CACHE Level 3 Diploma for The Early Years Workforce (Early Years Educator) or it can be used as a standalone CPD unit.
