National Day Nurseries Association (NDNA) has launched a new factsheet to help nurseries understand the new statutory guidance for local authorities regarding delivery of free early education for three and four years olds. The factsheet also includes information about future policy on the new free entitlement for disadvantaged two year olds.

Key changes to the Code of Practice include greater flexibility for parents, allowing them to access the entitlement over a minimum of two days instead of three days and the right to take up places between 7am and 7pm rather than between 8am and 6pm.
