A leading childcare charity is challenging politicians to make a real change for children and families.

Launching its Childcare Challenge, National Day Nurseries Association lays out the three key areas it wants the next Government to tackle for childcare – choice, cost and quality.

Chief executive Purnima Tanuku OBE said: "NDNA's Childcare Challenge focuses on the three key points nurseries, early years staff and parents highlighted as the most important challenges to the sector during our consultation.

"We are urging as many nursery owners, managers, practitioners and parents to sign up to our Childcare Challenge and make their voices heard. Download the full Childcare Challenge by logging onto the website at www.ndna.org.uk/childcarechallenge where you can also sign up to the challenge. Like our Facebook page www.facebook.com/ndnachildcarechallenge or tweet us @ndnatalk using #voteforchildcare

"This is your child, your choice, your local nursery and your vote; together we have a stronger voice and real chance of helping shape the future of childcare."
