Birmingham Positive Behaviour Programme
National Day Nurseries Association (NDNA) is working in partnership with Birmingham City Council to deliver a promoting positive behaviour training and support programme. This programme consists of two half day training sessions, access to themed Focus Groups and 1-1 support.

The programme is designed to equip delegates with the skills, knowledge and confidence to provide a stimulating, fun, challenging environment that supports all children's individual needs and interests and promotes positive behaviour.

Following the first training day individuals have the opportunity to embed the learning and identify the impact any changes to their environment have made to support the child's positive behaviour. The programme will also enable individuals to develop a robust action plan which will be reviewed during the subsequent training session.

Focus groups will be available throughout Birmingham during the programme with themes based on individual needs.

Support will be available throughout the programme. Individuals will have the facility via phone or online forum to pose questions for specialist advice and information to support the children within their care.

If you have attended the Birmingham Promoting Positive Behaviour Programme training sessions you can access this section of the Development Zone. You will have access to various case studies, template documents to use in your setting and a forum/online chat for specialist advice and information to support the children within your care.
